Rascals Art is a workshop where children get individualized attention to help them build their drawing and painting skills in unusual and fun ways.

The workshop includes working from observation, studies in value, color and composition. They work on group projects, visual brainstorming, and automatic/blind drawing exercises. The children visit artists' studios and museums to explore other ways of creating art. They also eagerly participate in lively weekly discussion/critique of their work as well as the work they observe during field trips.

Mary also teaches fun, intergenerational and adult beginner workshops. These workshops are for all skill levels and ages from 7 years and up. The students are encouraged to experiment and have fun exploring new techniques in their own way on a given subject matter. All supplies are included in the workshop and each student takes home an original, unique finished work of art.
